Raymond Miller is a founding partner of rmc - raafat miller consulting and is one of the few licensed architects who is also a licensed mechanical engineer. Over the last three decades his specialized expertise has served him well in developing technically complicated and architecturally significant projects and has been responsible for overall project direction for a large variety of building types both in the United States and Internationally. 

 

Mr. Miller’s personal, technical, and leadership capabilities were recognized early in his career when he was made Vice President for a large engineering consulting firm in 1992. His responsibilities included the management and operations for one of the firm’s offices. Mr. Miller then joined one of the largest and oldest architectural and engineering firms in the world as an associate and appointed the Director of Architecture for the firm’s Middle East North Africa office where he was responsible for all aspects of building projects from marketing through project closeout. In 2004, as a co-founder, Mr. Miller preceded with the establishment of rmc a full service architectural and engineering consulting firm.

 

In his career, he has worked on a wide variety of projects worth many billions of dollars throughout the United States, the Middle East and Internationally. He has been involved in the design of resorts and hotels, sports facilities, retail shopping malls, high-rise and low-rise residential buildings and complexes, primary, secondary and university educational facilities, entertainment destinations, and large urban master plans.

Philanthropy

Mr. Miller currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Fulbright Commission. A United States of America and Egyptian cooperative program to provide educational exchange opportunities for thousands of American and Egyptian scholars. He also serves on the American University of Cairo Architecture Advisory Board.
